After hours spent for research about manually setting up subdomains and virtual hosts, I am proud to launch Davao Directory’s official blog.
Configuring this whole new blog really gave me some serious headache. Aside from the patience it requires, wherein you should really spend some time waiting before a new “A Record” for your domain would be ready, you should also be able to work on setting up your virtual hosts at the same time. Well, in the end, it still ends up successful and I’m very glad it all worked out well (just that, I still need to complete my own mail server).
I’ll be requesting a Static IP Address for my website so I won’t have to worry about it when it changes, and I hope my ISP won’t give me some extra additional charges. Anyway, now that I’m feeling like a pro, I might post a complete tutorial on how to setup your own web server plus mails plus subdomains.
